Nicole Richie And Joel Madden Finally Tie The Knot

Good Charlotte rockstar Joel Madden and socialite Nicole Richie were married over the weekend in a lavish ceremony held at the Beverly Hills estate owned by the bride's celebrity father Lionel Richie.

The wedding was officiated by none other than Run DMC legend Rev Run, a practicing Pentecostal minister who is formally known as Joseph 'Rev. Run' Simmons.

The couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends including Gwen Stefani and Ashlee Simpson. Madden's twin brother Benji served as best man, while DJ Samantha Ronson was among the bridesmaids. 

Richie received backlash from animal rights group PETA after her daddy surprised her with an extra wedding guest - an elephant. Apparently the former Simple Life star has been obsessed with elephants ever since she was a kid, but Lionel must have overlooked her involvement with PETA'scampaign to stop elephant cruelty in the circus. Whoops.
