Taylor Swift And Jake Gyllenhaal Split

Another Swift Break Up

Taylor Swift may already have some new ammunition to fire on her next album. The Speak Now singer just released a CD with 14 tracks rumored to be written with a string of Hollywood heart breakers in mind, and now it seems one more has been added to the hit list. Since October Jake Gyllenhaal had reportedly been the main man in Taylor's life, seen with her all over New York and Nashville on adorable coffee dates and posing for photo ops.

The two appeared to be gushing with sweetness despite never publicly announcing the status of their relationship. But a short two months have passed and the couple has called it quits, according to People. Despite the flights across the country to see each other and rumors of Gyllenhaal , in the end the nine year age gap followed by excessive media attention made Jake uncomfortable. So he called it off, and sources say Taylor is less than impressed. Yikes. Better hide out in Broke Up Mountain for a while, cowboy, this country girl is known for beating dead horses before getting back in the saddle.

The relationship apparently came to a close last month and the two spent both their birthdays and the holidays apart with Swift, 21, in Nashville and Gyllenhaal, 30, in New York. This Christmas break up business is becoming a bit of a pattern with Taylor.

The recent single "Back To December" describes a bitter finale with Twilight actor Taylor Lautner last year and it looks like there's room for a sequel. Back To December Again? Back To The Future, Then Back To December? She'll think of something. Lucky for the blonde bachelorette, she rang in the new year with a Peoples Choice Award last night for "Favorite Country Artist".

Maybe 2011 isn't so bad after all, Taylor!
