Jeff Spicoli Goes Ivy League
Except for the occasional red carpet event, Harvard hottie Natalie Portman is pretty down low when it comes to the whole Hollywood scene.

But with Paris Hilton all lovely dovey and contemplating motherhood (perish the thought!), the Star Wars star has gotten caught in the tabloid's line of fire.

Star magazine accuses Natalie Portman of sharing a "passionate embrace" with married Oscar winner Sean Penn.

"They went to a bank of elevators that only goes to the spa or to private rooms." an eyewitness tells Star. "They came back about 45 minutes later, and that's when I saw them making out."

Sean seems like a loose cannon, but Natalie? We guess we shouldn't act so incredulous. Stranger things have happened. Like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy. Or Katy Perry and Josh Groban.

But Penn isn't the only thespian linked to the actress. The Chicago Sun-Times says that The Notebook stud Ryan Gosling has been pitching woo in her direction since they met at a Los Angeles nightclub, sending her "very poetic" text messages, along with first editions of books he thinks she'd like (swoon!).

And last month Natalie was rumored to have taken a shine to Twilight vamp Robert Pattinson after the pair were seen getting cosy at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

After all those late night study sessions and final exams, Nat seems to be taking a break from books for beefcake!
