"My Dad Threatened to Take My Children Away"

Uh oh. Add another chalk mark to the list of Britney Spears' zaniness.

In a leaked voicemail allegedly left by the pop star for one of her lawyers in January, the "Womanizer" singer can be heard asking for help to remove the conservatorship she's currently under and making serious allegations against her father, Jamie Spears.

On the tape, she says:

"Hi my name's Briney Spears. I called you earlier. I'm calling again because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of the eliminating the conservatorship that my father has threatened me several times, that you know, he'll take my children away. I just want to be guaranteed that everything will be fine with the process and that you guys are taking care of everything, that things will stay the same as far as my custodial time. That's it, bye."

That Papa Spears rules with an iron fist is no secret. In late February, Jamie -- who controls all of his daughter's affairs -- reportedly went ballistic when Britney got her hands on a prepaid phone and was calling up Adnan to help bust her out of lock down.

And according to the Mirror, Jamie issued a string of rules to his meal ticket that she must obey while on her Circus tour, including reading the Bible everyday for an hour, abstaining from any Internet surfing, K-Fed visits and junk food.

Papa Spears has Brit on such a short leash that she feels like a "a prisoner on her tour."

Jamie is also in the process of trying to shut down a fan site of Britney's for violation of copyrighted content, but the site's owner claims, "The real issue, in my opinion, is
hidden behind these copyright Infringement claims, rather management, particularly her father / conservator, Jamie Spears, who makes $18,000 a month off his daughter, is desperately trying to hide the truth about Britney's imprisonment, and shut anyone up who disagrees with their conniving and selfish exploitation of an innocent mother of 2 pushed back into the limelight just several months after a hospitalization."

Hulk Hogan is no father of the year, but Brit probably wishes she could trade places with Brooke Hogan right about now, stripper heels, pasties and all.
