It's okay to be a little needy, says science

altYou don't want to be that girl who can't go half an hour without talking to her boyfriend. You certainly don't want to be texting him while he's out with the guys, or demanding that he pay you endless complements when the two of you are out at dinner. And you certainly don't want him pestering you with phone calls and attention 24/7, either! But there's a happy medium between Stage 5 Clinger and completely aloof, and if you can find it, research suggests your relationship will flourish - and your sex life will improve.

"Researchers discovered that being able to put oneself in a 'place of dependency' (ie, relying on your partner) may boost your sexual desire and lead you to feel happier in your relationship," reports Cosmopolitan.com. "Basically, the scientists studied 200 people and concluded that the more secure you feel with your boyfriend or husband, the more ramped up your libido."

Feeling like you can turn to your partner when you need someone to talk to is obviously a crucial part of any relationship, but you should also be secure in knowing that your man loves you even if he doesn't say it all the time. Plus, if you can relax in your relationship and trust in your boy, you're already on your way to being a happier, more carefree person!
