Check out the hottest new trends and objects gracing the design pages. This month we've really gone all-out and found some interesting objects that you can use to create a unique, modern feel in your living space. Amazing!

OBJECT: Elding Oscarson's Magazine Walls

The acclaimed but freshly created Swedish architecture team has really hit it out of the park with this space, designed with surfaces entirely fashioned out of old, re-used bundles of magazines. It kind of starts you thinking, doesn't it?

TREND: The Bloomingdale's Big Window Challenge

Three renowned designers last month went head-to-head in the storefront windows at Bloomingdale's flagship store in NYC, aiming to out-do each other in designing the most beautiful room. Votes were independently tabulated, and each room came with a unique story of its inspiration. You can see the winning design and decide which is your favourite here.

OBJECT: The Bookwave Hanging Bookshelf

Not much to say here... just an all-around pretty neat way to store anything around the house, from books and magazines, to bottles of wine and even shoes. Awesome.

TREND: Modern Hippy Chic

This style is really taking up a lot of real estate (pun intended) currently in the leading design publications, and is an inspiration for all three of the entries in the Bloomingdale's Big Window Challenge (link above). Might be something to consider in the direction of your next au courant design foray?

OBJECT: Lee J. Rowland's "Ripple Table"

Yes. It really looks like that. And hey! At only around $100,000, why not run out and buy yourself one today (or two)? Surely I jest - but this is a great example of where art and furniture truly meet.
