More than 10,000 antiques and collectables will be displayed throughout Sherway Gardens during the mall's 39th annual Summer Antiques Show. The show is Toronto largest antiquing event. It allows visitors to browse through a variety of antiques spread out across 1.2 kilometres of mall space.
Antiques add a wow factor' to any home decor says the show organizer, Peter Sutherland. It's all about finding the coolest things in the city. And the show will surely not disappoint as it caters to every type of antique aficionado, from beginners to a novices. It also promises to be the event where you find that perfect piece to add to your home or cottage.
The Summer Antiques Sales includes folk art from the Maritimes, white-washed cottage furniture, vintage timepieces, armoires from France, ancient coins, pine harvest tables, pressed glass, estate jewellery and so much more. The show officially opens at 10 am on Monday August 2nd and runs through Sunday, August 8th 2010. Furthermore, it also has free parking and admission, making it unthinkable to miss out on this great summer event
