Late next month, some of the world’s most creative and innovative minds will come out to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto for the 13th annual Interior Design Show/IDS 2011 presented by RADO.

Since its inception in 1998, Canada’s largest contemporary design fair, The Interior Design Show, has seen over 550,000 visitors, close to 5,000 media, and 4,000 businesses and individuals.

The Interior Design Show 2011, held from January 27 to 30, consists of one-off exhibits and unique installations by Canada’s best, in addition to 300 exhibitors, presenting their design products and services for your home, restaurant, or hotel. You will find something for every taste.

Some of those exhibitors include Andrew Richard Designs, Cecconi Simone Inc., Toronto Life, The Wine Studio, The Globe and Mail, Style at Home Magazine, Sheridan College, Ryerson University, OCAD, Interior Designers of Canada, IKEA, Humber College, homeTRADER, Designlines, Canadian Interiors Magazine, Azure Magazine, and AUDI Canada, to name just a few.

In attendance will be design professionals, discerning consumers, and media guests, along with world-renowned industry leaders and raw talent invited to share their ideas through never-before-seen feature exhibits and thought-provoking talks.

Through their travels from Miami to Milan, the IDS team humbly brings you 13 of the world’s highly acclaimed designers and architects: British-born and Hong Kong-based designer Michael Young of Michael Young Studios; Paris-based architect, inventor and designer Jean-Marie Massaud of Massaud Studios; and Los Angeles-based architect Thom Mayne, principal of Morphosis, among others.

IDS11 is a symposium of all things design, featuring a fundraising auction of Vitra Panton Chairs for Casey House, design-shopping for under $500, a student showcase of work from some of Canada's best design programs, and many more.

The Interior Design Show/IDS 2011 will kick off with an opening night party on Thursday, January 27, followed by a professional trade day on Friday, January 28. The show will be $19 general admission on Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30.
