Is your man a little ... premature?

altAndy Samberg and the Lonely Island boys may have made a joke out of it ("I'm very sensitive/Some would say that's a plus"), but premature ejaculation is a real problem that affects millions of men. While it may be funny if it's just an occasional annoyance, sexual dysfunction can put a real strain on a relationship. So what can you do to help your guy last a little longer in bed?

First, give it a little time. If you've only just started being intimate together, it may have been a while since his last relationship - and all that pent-up tension could be causing him to be a little more sensitive than he normally would be. If things don't start improving after a few weeks of sexual activity, the culprit could be something else.

Anxiety is a major reason guys can be quick in the sack. If he's stressed out about his performance or worried about what you might think, he might not function to the best of his ability. You can help ease the tension by telling him how much you care about him and how much you like sleeping with him, even if the sessions don't go quite as long as you'd like.

Finally, while you're waiting for the issue to resolve, look on the bright side. If he's a little too fast the first time around, it might leave room for a second romp - once he's finished one time, he'll likely last much longer on the second go-round.
