Life's Good, And Even Better in HD
At a press conference yesterday, LG formally introduced their plans for this year's Life's Good Film Fest. Looking out over the city through the windows of Panorama, 51 floors up at the Manulife Centre in Yorkville, company big wigs and media personalities gabbed about cinema, the upcoming event, and of course, the perks of HD.
The turn out was impressive, but perhaps you can 'blame it' on the celebrity speaker. None other than the Academy Award winning Jamie Foxx was in attendance at the sky-high resto-lounge to share stories about his past experiences on the big screen, and of course to discuss what the good people at LG have planned for the much anticipated festival.
LG Life's Good Film Fest is an open access, competitive festival meant to recognize and celebrate the finer things in life through short HD films. The creators of the event hope to engage both filmmakers and audiences in a cinematic discussion about joy, faith, hope, future and well-being. The festival is open to film-cutting veterans and first-timers alike, and every film has the chance to win $100,000 in cash, and the opportunity to be screened around the world.
