With summer just around the corner, we bet plenty of you are getting nostalgic for all the Junes and Julys you used to spend up at sleep-away camp. From bonding with other girls in your cabin to waterskiing on the lake to dinners in the mass hall, summer camp is a treasured memory for young girls - and the women they become - all across Canada. If you're looking to relive those nights on the dock with the bonfire roaring, here are our favorite summer-camp-themed movies to take you back to your childhood.

1. Wet Hot American Summer. A classic summer camp comedy, you'll barely have time for nostalgia in between all the laughing you'll be doing!

2. The Parent Trap. While only part of this movie takes place at summer camp, you'll be lost in the fun and intrigue of a pair of long-lost identical twins who switch places in a plot to bring their parents back together. We love both versions - the original, and the Lindsay Lohan remake.

3. Heavyweights. In this hilariously sadistic comedy, Ben Stiller plays an unhinged fitness guru who takes over a "fat camp" and forces the young boys who inhabit it to embark on a ridiculous weigh-loss regime. You'll feel better about your own gym routine instantly!

4. Friday the 13th. In the mood for a little horror? This is the original summer camp slasher flick.

5. Camp Nowhere. Four friends destined for separate camps team up instead to create their own dream summer camp - one with no rules!
