UK garage and hip hop singer: Ms Dynamite
I'm really digging two new tracks at the moment, and what both of them have in common is that they feature Ms Dynamite, a wicked London-born vocalist.
Ms Dynamite (born Niomi Arleen McLean-Daley) is far from a newcomer, and is known in the UK garage hip-hop scene. She's won BRIT Awards twice, MOBO Awards thrice, and dropped two albums - A Little Deeper in 2002 and Judgement Day in 2005. In 2002 her debut album led her to the honour of being the first solo black female artist to win the prestigious Mercury Music Award. In 2009 she was on the UK's Hell's Kitchen with foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay and ended up finishing fourth. But the apron has come off and she's dropped the mixing bowl for mixing more music.
The talented songstress is featured on two sick singles: DJ Zinc's Wile Out and Redlight's What You Talking About!? Be sure to check the tracks out and to keep your ears peeled for her name: Ms Dy-na-mi-tee!
