Did You Get Your Tickets!?

If you love music, and you're living in Toronto, odds are you tried your very best to nail down tickets to tonight's show at Massey Hall.

Musical up-and-comers The XX will be playing their first ever set at the historic downtown location, and tickets have been sold out for weeks.

Like, weeks. And we mean it.

The English band, hailing from London-town, was at first a foursome, soon to be a trio. Their whispery sound sets us to sleep (in a great way), and her voice makes me wish I stayed in music class...

Smooth, sultry and organic, The XX brings rise to the next generation of Portishead and School of Seven Bells.

Captivating and cool, this brand of laid-back indie rock
won Britain's coveted Mercury Prize earlier this year.

The band, which has opened for many notable acts, including Friendly Fires, will be headlining their first show in Toronto tonight and we couldn't be more thrilled to have passes!

The venue, known best for hosting acts like Bob Dylan and Wilco (mmmmmm), provides an intimate setting for the crowd, allowing the concert to be less of a "show", and more of an experience. Think Jimi. Can you feel it?

Their first album, Young Turks, received wonderful reviews from critics across the globe. We at WOMAN.ca rank it among our top albums of the past year!

We can't wait to see the performance tonight. Are you going?
