EMA Awards Recap In Spain

This weekend, the European Music Awards (EMA's) took place in Madrid, Spain and the red carpet was riddled with stars in top form.

Newlywed Katy Perry made her first musical appearance since her lavish wedding and was all fired up on both the red carpet and the Caja Magical stage for her performance of her new hit single "Firework". The Teenage Dream diva, who scored Best Video, was sparkling in a short skirt and electric blue heels, hair swept back in a sleek ponytail sitting high on her head.

Another notable fashionista in attendance was Rihanna wearing a very elegant, very frilly white gown. Ke$ha, as per usual, looked like a yard sale. Fortunately for her, though, it was a good night anyway because she won her first EMA in the Best New Act category.

Eminem picked up yet another Best Hip-Hop award, Justin Bieber scored two trophies, and the lady who owned the night was none other than Lady Gaga who was outstanding in three categories, Best Pop, Best Female, and Best Song, which she accepted via satellite from her latest Monster Ball tour location.
