Infant friendly books by Squishy Press

We were sent two Squishy Press books recently to review and the baby LOVES them. Basically the books are brightly coloured images of kids doing interesting things. One was all funny faces and the other opposites.

Although not intellectually stimulating for the adult reading these, they're perfect for babies. Izzy even imitated the images and stuck out his tongue at the pictures of the kids with their tongues out and smiled at the kid smiling. Very cute to watch him interact with these.

A big concern when giving infants any sort of toy or book though is that they'll inevitably put them in their mouths. Squishy Press had this in mind while designing their books:

Squishy Press books are printed in the USA using environmentally-conscious paper, inks, and printing processes. No laminates, foils, or potentially harmful glues are used. Our goal is to remove all potentially harmful chemicals and replace them with whimsy and fun! But just to make sure, we had a third-party laboratory test our books for chemical content. We wanted to know exactly what is and is not in our books, so we could be sure we were making the safest book for your child. The results show that we far exceed government standards for safety!
