Get Ready For Millions Of Kids To Start Whining They Want A Doggy, Too

America's desire to fawn over the Obamas' promised puppy has so far gone unfulfilled, creating a level of anticipation that threatens to spill over into a frenzy of ridiculous proportions.

But sources now indicate that the introduction of the new First Dog, reportedly a Portuguese Water Dog, will come sometime between Monday and the end of the month.

Expect CNN to kick-off a "Presidents & Their Pooches: We Needed Something To Fill Air Time" countdown, which FOX News will counter program with "Portuguese Water What? Must Be Some Kind Of Communist Dog."

And we can't help but notice this announcement follows recent news that Kumar (Kal Penn) has left White Castle for the White House (for reals). Coincidence or is he the new presidential pooch wrangler, perhaps? After the crap he had to shovel before making it in H'wood, he does have the requisite qualifications for the position.
