Twitter for Dogs?
We're all about loving our pets - but this seems a bit over the top.
I
remember the day that I first learned about Twitter. I was sorely
confused, and it took me a good six months to actually sign up. Then,
once I did, I was still baffled. Tweeting. Re-tweeting. It was enough
to give anyone whose used to, you know, communicating orally, a serious
headache.
I'm now
better versed (athankya) but if YOU still find Twitter to be puzzling
and hard to use, prepare to feel really, really stupid.
This just in: dogs can use Twitter.
A new invention called The Canine Twitterer
($30) is a device strapped around your puppy's neck that allows him to
share his deep thoughts and sardonic, 140 character musings with his
Twitter followers.
As
the fine people at OUTBLUSH explain it, a motion sensor and microphone
in the tag interprets activity and sends a corresponding pre-loaded
tweet. Tweets are sent from the tag to a USB receiver plugged into your
computer. Sounds pretty hi-tech for a species that still licks it's
own bum for kicks.
If your dog got Twitter, what would he/she say?
