Baby On Board Apparel was conceived when founder Ali McEwen 's sister was pregnant with her first child. After seeing that the maternity market lacked apparel that celebrated pregnancy, Ali soon set on a mission to create something that mommies to be would be proud to wear. With her background in fashion marketing and merchandising she used some of her resources to custom create and produce 50 t-shirt's which are now known as The UltraSound Tee. The positive response resulted in Ali creating an entire collection of Celebration Tee's that first launched in April of 2009. At the end of the same year Ali decided to leave her full time day job and follow her entrepreneurial spirit to create fashionable basics for blossoming bellies and take her company to the next level.

Fall 2010 will bring the launch PROJECT FORMULA which is a not-for-profit project dedicated to providing baby formula to needy mothers and their babies across Canada. A percentage of every online sale will go towards supporting this cause.
