Peggy's Pasta Sauce

Traditional pasta sauce that can compliment any pasta dish.
Ingredients
1 16-oz. jar Prego traditional sauce 1 12-oz. can stewed tomatoes dash of red pepper flakes 2 Tbs. Herbs de Provence 2 bay leaves dash of oregano dash of basil dash of kosher salt dash of ground white pepper 1 clove garlic (optional) Any amount of Sausage, beef, or chicken 2 ladles of water from cooking pasta

Place Prego pasta sauce in a saucepan and heat on medium high. Add all remaining ingredients except meat and pasta water. Cook meat  until cooked through. Brown meat remove all fat/grease then incorporate into sauce until it bubbles then reduce to low and let simmer for a minimum of 45 minutes. Add pasta water to sauce just before removing pasta noodles. Mix and enjoy.
