Deja Vu All Over Again

Are we the only ones who start humming "I Kissed A Girl" whenever they see Katy Perry? It's a catchy ditty indeed, but like her wardrobe, we are weary of it's calculated efforts to shock and awe.

Case in point, the peacock dress from Matthew Wiliamson's upcoming collection for H&M is perfect for the singer with its vibrant color and peacock feather pattern. And we like the shiny sliver heels; not loving the black tights but she's not trying to pass them off as leggings (cough*Lindsay*cough) so we'll turn a blind eye.

But then she goes a step too far into costume with that Lulu Guinness lip clutch. Yeah, we know over-the-topness is her shtick, like Lady Gaga's averse to pants, but we'd like to see her look pretty and polished for a change. Time for a new tune and a new look, Katy. We fugged a girl and we like it . . .
