Shade of Blues Will Add Drama to the Emmy's Red Carpet This Year

It's that time again! One of the biggest nights for award shows, it's a time for the most recognizable stars in show biz to look perfectly glamorous for us to ohhhh and ahhhhh over what they are wearing. It is my prediction that blue will be the new black on the red carpet of the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. This dramatic color is smoothing and mesmerizing. Hues of blue can lift and lighten ones appearance and I have a good feeling that it will be worn in navy, midnight blue, azure and aquamarine. Blue is a universally flattering color and is very versatile color for all skin tones and all ages. Blue looks fresh in flowing fabrics and on structured dresses as seen in the pictures above.

Blue was a very prominent on the fall 2010 and resort 2011 runways for designers like Ellie Saab, Jenny Packham, Reem Acra, Marchesa and Carolina Herrera. Because of their red carpet presence and I have a good feeling we might be seeing a lot of blue this yearbe sure to tune in for the red carpet pre shows to see if I'm on to something.
