Take 19 of your favourite contestants from both shows, put them up in some swanky digs, have them compete for love and money (a cool $250,000) and you get some perfect end-of-summer guilty pleasure television.

What better way to end off a scorching season, right?

The Bachelor Pad is like the Survivor of dating. Contestants will compete in challenges, winning immunity and the chance to ask out whoever they want in the house.

Of course, you can guarantee there will be plenty of hook-ups, drama, sleazeballs, crazy women and lots of skin.

The show premieres tonight, August 9 on ABC at 8 p.m.
