Memorable moments at The Emmys 2010
The 2010 Emmy awards lived up to its traditional glitz and glamour as stars lit up the red carpet in their stunning designer gowns, ready for a night of high profile fashion and entertainment. Jimmy Fallon was a pleasant surprise as the master of ceremonies for the evening, using most of his stage time for serenading the audience with his guitar and witty introductions in song form. Lea Michele from Glee made a notable impression on the masses with her midnight blue Oscar de la Renta floor length gown that has got people talking and retail clothing stores on the phone for knock offs as we speak. Ricky Gervais charmed the crowd with his usual magnetic humour and infectious laughter, George Clooney made more than a few well received cameos, and a few fashion faux pas slip ups by January Jones and Anna Paquin made interview reporters cringe. All in all, it was a night of sentiment and victory for the winners who took home the coveted prize, and well deserved recognition was given to a number of hot new television shows, such as Glee and Modern Family. In case you missed all the action, here is a complete list of the Emmy Award Winners for 2010!
