Betty White's latest fashion endeavor.
America's favourite Golden Girl is making headlines again this week with yet another entertaining stint. While our grandparents are feasting on the early bird special so they can be home in time for Wheel of Fortune, this 88 year-old Hollywood veteran is busy hosting Saturday Night Live and adding to her already extensive repertoire of talent.
Next to actress, comedian, game show host, and author is a brand new title to join the list - fashion designer. Introducing a line of hoodies and T-shirts with the launch of "The Betty White" limited-collection edition for Jerry Leigh Apparel, White has gone above and beyond all expectations of comedy with her latest promotional stint. A behind-the-scenes video features a stern, business savvy White in the warehouse home of her fashion line, with workers and marketing campaigners at her beck and call. If I ask you to sew, you say how fast? And if I ask you to iron, you say how hard, she instructs her manufacturing team.
Hoodies and shirts with White's face emblazoned on them above cute phrases like "Long Live The Queen" are being sold at hoodiebuddie.com, priced from $48 with portions of the proceeds going to the Morris Animal Foundation. A rediscovered Hollywood icon and entrepreneur, Betty White is going strong and more loveable than ever. Go Betty!
So what do you think? Will you be adding a Betty White hoodie to your Fall Fashion collection?
