Comedienne Betty White is 89 years old and still making
us laugh with her starring turn in films like The Proposal, her
appearance on Saturday Night Live and her sitcom Hot in Cleveland, so
she knows a thing or two about getting the most out of her years. She
recently went on The Late Show with David Letterman to share her tips
for living a long, happy life - and, of course, they featured plenty of
her trademark bite.
"Get eight hours of beauty sleep," she advised viewers, "and nine if you're ugly."
She also encouraged the show's audience to exercise, then added, "Or don't - what do I care?"
Other tips included a "nightly appointment with Dr. Johnnie Walker" and "try[ing] not to die." She also emphatically told us all to "avoid tweeting any photos of [our] private parts" - and gave a shout-out to NBA non-champion Lebron James, telling him not to dwell on past mistakes.
