TNT is renowned for television shows that surround a
court room and a few quirky lawyers. However, one new program is taking
viewers and critics by storm: Franklin and Bash.
Recently, the series was renewed for a second season after receiving raving reviews, according to Entertainment Weekly. Franklin and Bash stars '90s heartthrob Mark-Paul Gosselaar, along with Breckin Meyer. The duo, who can be seen on the small screen every Wednesday night at 9 p.m., have helped the comedy-drama quickly become one of the most watched programs on cable.
"This summer, Franklin and Bash has broken out as a hugely entertaining series with great characters, sharp writing and a terrific cast," Michael Wright, executive vice president and head of programming, for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies, told the news source. "We're thrilled that the show has drawn such a remarkably strong following and look forward to bringing it back next summer."
Although Franklin and Bash is now one of the most successful shows on the network, other TNT shows seem to be gaining public interest as well. In fact, the Jada Pinkett-Smith drama Hawthorne started its third season last month.
