Roseanne's Nuts gets Lifetime viewers laughing again

Not every sitcom icon from the '90s can come back with a hit reality show, but Roseanne Barr appears to be the exception. Recently, Roseanne's Nuts debuted on Lifetime as critics rolled their eyes. However, the show seems to be popular among those who have followed Barr's comedic career, as well as home audiences who are just looking for good dose of reality television.

Barr, of course, is the star of the series. Since her days on Roseanne as a snarky mother, she has learned to kick back and relax: in Hawaii, specifically. Roseanne's Nuts takes place on Barr's 40-acre macadamia nut farm on the Big Island. The show follows the comedian as she attempts to learn to live out in the wild, which seems to be far from her comfort zone.

Roseanne and her husband, musician Johnny Argent, are a match made in reality television heaven. Together, the two provide many laughs as Barr attempts to tackle issues ranging from wild pigs to harvesting nuts.

Although many people were skeptical of Roseanne's Nuts, the show appears to be taking off thanks to the originality and blunt attitude of Barr. This program may be just what Lifetime needs to lighten up the mood and kick its overall ratings up a notch.
