Fashion Police & NYPD Called To The Scene

The cat fights on America's Next Top Model usually don't start until after the model makeover episode. But next season's crop of wannabe cat-walkers got an early start on all the weave-pulling.

A massive melee broke out on Saturday during a New York casting call for ANTM's new season of under 5-feet-7 Kate Moss types, resulting in a scene that looked like a 50% off sale at Barney's. Police officers arrested three people and at least six were injured.

According to the New York Daily News, the chaotic scene may have been sparked by tension after waiting in line for hours and an overheating car. That, plus crankiness caused due to a diet devoid of actual food. See, this is why carbs are your friend.

A fight broke out among some of the skinny minis, many who slept outside overnight to be first to show their best model stomp in front of casting agents. Adding to the confusion, a car appeared spewing smoke, sending a wave of scantily clad women scrambling to get out of the way and reportedly led to shouts that a bomb had gone off.

"The girls were running like it was 9/11 part two," 27-year-old Jennifer Brown of, Brooklyn told the Daily News. "I feared for my life."

After watching 11 seasons of ANTM, many probably thought it was an impromptu model challenge. Can't you just hear creator Tyra Banks saying, "You never know when you'll be faced with a real life fashion disaster. Whether it's a broken high heel or a bomb threat, you have to be FIERCE and ready to work it. With your EYES. That's what it means to be a top model. This one time, when I was . . . "

And just watch, this will be the next topic on Tyra's talk show: How to Survive a Fashion Emergency And Still Look Ready for the Runway!

Meanwhile, the current crop of mannequins that will never be seen again after the season wraps, kicked off the 12th cycle last week. But seriously, after all this drama, we don't know how Fo and company can top it.
