Nothing Says Fresh Like Mint and Rosemary

It feels like mouthwash these days don't seem to do the trick. They do everything else, they whiten, they strengthen, the desensitize, but they don't seem to kill bacteria like the used to. That's why many people have taken to making their own mouthwash at home.

And the best part? It's totally eco-friendly.

Making mouthwash at home is easy, inexpensive, better for the environment and fun. You can create interesting flavours that trump wintermint andcinniyum any day!

With this simple recipe for Homemade Rosemary-Mint Mouthwash, you can create your own eco-safe, deliciously flavoured and super effective mouth rinse in your very own kitchen.

What You'll Need:

2 1/2 cups distilled or mineral water (filtered from tap is just fine, too)
1 tsp fresh mint leaves
1tsp rosemary leaves
1 tsp anise seeds

What You'll Do:

Boil the water, then, add herbs and seeds, and let it stew for for 40 minutes. Cool and the strain. If you would like to make a larger quantity, double or triple the recipe then add 1 tsp of tincture of myrrh as a natural preservative.

In an hour, you'll have your own moutwash that disinfects, freshens and cleans - without any of those silly bells and whistles. Enjoy!
